Cotton
Mountain Cottages is located approximately 2 hours from Boston, MA, 6
hours from New York City, NY, 4 hours from Montreal, Quebec, and 2
hours from southern Maine.
Directions from I 93 North:
Follow Interstate 93 to exit 24 (at mile marker 75). If you are
traveling north, go right (East) on Route 3, at the end of the ramp.
Follow Route 3 for about 4.3 miles. [Note that at .7 miles from the end
of the ramp, Rte. 3 has a tricky junction with Rte. 132. If you go
straight, you end up on Rte. 132. At this junction, you will see a
Cumberland Farms on your left, and a sign for Holderness pointing left.
Bear left, and head towards Holderness.]
Follow Route 3 into Holderness. You should see a sign on your right
announcing a junction with Rte. 113.
Turn Left and follow Rte. 113 about .6 miles. You will see signs on
your left for Laughing Bear cottages and Cotton Mountain Cottage, and a
road sign for Cotton mountain Drive.
Turn left and go up the driveway at these signs. (There are actually two
driveways converging on the road at this point, forming a V. Go up the
driveway on your right.) The offices are in the second and third
buildings on the right.
